-A sanctuary for those who “Live to Give” can rejuvenate! To establish a sanctuary where people from Hawaii, and others who give in their lives from around the world can be rejuvenated spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. So they can go out and give some more. People who are always giving need a rest or they will get burned out and will withdraw from giving. They must have a spiritual place to rejuvenate!
-To establish a sanctuary where handicapped people can come to enjoy time with their friends and family and enjoy the pure beauty of this incredible location! The sanctuary must be wheelchair accessible. We have a handicapped washroom with a handicapped shower. We have a pool with a built-in ramp. We need to buy a van that handicapped people can drive and that we can pick people up in. We need a ramp into the suite. Etc Etc.
- I want this to be a sanctuary, for family and community events for those who live on Molokai so they can enjoy this beautiful spot.
- I want it to be a place of creativity and inspiration … a real true sanctuary blessed by our Creator, enjoyed by all!
Donations are always welcome. You cannot donate because you stayed here as a guest, the County of Maui would consider this short-term rental money and we don’t accept this.
To me creating is the very essence of life. My appetite for painting has never been satisfied. I love to learn; I am curious by nature and I am not afraid of failure….because failure does not exist – only learning and growth…."
Monk is a west coast Canadian artist with a primary studio on spectacular Rathtrevor Beach, located in Parksville, Vancouver Island, British Columbia and a gallery/studio across from the beach club in Central Parksville

MONKs original West Coast Canadian Art is created in oils and acrylics and depicts the spectacular ocean views, idyllic beach scenes on Vancouver Island coastlines, old growth forests and totem poles in the Haida Gwaii. MONK has travelled all over the world learning, growing and painting.
MONK works with families, community groups and corporate groups to create original memories on art work with signed dedications on the back of the paintings. To see how these show how these incredible masterpieces are created.
